Well over the last couple of weekends I've been fooling around with different ways to try and capture something on video. So far I have been setting up a dual videocam on a tripod. One camera is in "nightshot" mode and the other is in low light mode to capture any color. I've been pointing it at different directions in the sky and leaving it while changing out tapes twice a night. So far nothing, couple of airplanes, satellites and the occasional police helicopter (which likes play with the spotlight and fly more often than I thought).
Question is: Am I missing something or is this more of a pure luck phenomena?
I received an e-mail from Texas skywatcher Will Sunny and he told me "I found the evidence I was looking for, so good luck with your search." He made it sound easy. Anyone else have some tips?
