It’s been five quiet and patient days now since De Void began pressing the U.S. Air Force for a response to MUFON’s report on the UFO tracked by FAA radar near Stephenville, Tex., on Jan. 8.
The unenviable man in the middle is Maj. Karl Lewis, the media chief for the 301st Fighter Wing at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base at Carswell Field. On Monday, Lewis said he hadn’t read the analysis, released in July, so he couldn’t address its conclusions.
I’m not sure what MUFON is trying to achieve, I think they already know that military isn’t going to speak out on anything related to UFOs. Its not like even this strong case made with the civilian radar reports is going make them say, “Ok you got us, here is all the information we have about UFOs.” But then again, prehaps thats the strategy because this is such a strong case for the UFO community and with military’s denails it just makes it that much more convincing to the skeptics out there.
Major Karl Lewis claims that the email in question regarding the information about MUFON’s Stephenville Radar reports was never read by him. Some would like to automatically that is a lie, but come on, do you read every email you get? Besides, being in position not knowing what the subject title of the email stated if he knew what it was about he most likely didn’t want to read it anyways, right?
As promised I’d like to give the best coverage possible on this site with the Stephenville UFO sightings, and I’ve been slacking off here lately. This past week as I’ve been closely monitoring the situations developing in Georgia with the Russian military, watching the the tropical weather as I do each year living on the Texas gulf coast now, and I’ve moved all my websites to its own server.

On the nite of January 8, 2008 most likely the largest scale mass UFO sighting took place since the 1947 Roswell incident. A few dozen people including a Steve Allen, a 50-year-old pilot, Erath County Constable Lee Roy Gaitan, Rick Sorrells, and along with several business owners all reported seeing a large object with strange lights hovering in the sky at a very low altitude. Some of these people even reported seeing military jets chasing the object. But my favorite of all the witnesses is Mike Zimmerman, 62 retired from Texas DPS of 25 years and was on “Protective Detail” of 5 different Governors of Texas.
The director of MUFON stated that they received 50 calls from citizens claiming to have seen this UFO and that those numbers and the creditability of the witnesses was, “exceptional!” First intial reports has military denying any planes in the air that nite from Maj. Karl Lewis from the Joint Reserve Base Naval Air Station in Fort Worth. After saying that no F-16s or other aircraft from his base was in the air that nite, he also was quoted saying, “I’m 90 percent sure this was an airliner. With the sun’s angle, it can play tricks on you.” However the military later said they did in fact have some F-16s flying that night and FOIA released documents I’ll go over further down shows prove of that. Rick Sorrells who says he saw it while he was hunting deer in the woods has since reported getting “intimidating” phone calls from a military official and has had frequent visits of military helicopters flying over his land. From what I can gather, the official apparently made a deal with him that the copters would stop flying over his property if he quit talking to media outlets about his story.
The Mutual UFO Network gets over 200 reports of UFOs each month a majority of those reports comes from the states of Texas, California, and Colorado. Due to the shocking numbers involved with the Stephenville case, they’ve sent a team to the small town to investigate. Here is a link to the radar report released under the Freedom Of Information Act requested by them:
You’ll need Adobe’s Acrobat Reader installed to view as its rather large and consist of some vital information that in my opinion clearly proves that there was a UFO in the sky that night over the time frame of the 4 hours thats available within the report. You’ll find over 2 dozen charts and graphs showing the UFO’s movement and location over various periods of time. It also some has some blacked out flight logs from the military, along with the documents denying any additional information from the military and the responses from different FOIA officials from different departments.
The most interesting thing about this is the proximity to some of the sightings and the alledged movement towards President Bush’s Crawford Ranch, which is a no fly zone of course. Its been determined that Bush was not at his ranch during the night of January 8th.
It turns out that Texas has always been a hotbed for UFO activity with reports dating back to over 50 years before the Roswell Crash ever took place. I’ll let you read the article for yourself here:
When I first heard about this story I was very amazed considering I grew up within 30 miles of Stephenville, Texas. Not to mention have had my own experiences of seeing something in the sky that I still to this day wonder what and if could of been from another world. Part 4 of this special raises some good questions and answers from the UFO Hunters staff. My favorite is the theory of time travel as I think its worth giving it atleast the chance of possibilities considering if we are in fact being visited by aliens. Another called calls in to ask about how the Government regulates what the media can cover, and he replies stating they give them reports they want them to cover and those reports tend be those that are easy not to be believe. This is where the leaving the whole world blind and not really knowing whats going on.
